Pros and cons of mbPointer: PowerPoint slide show remote control app for iPhone and iPad

mbPointer: PowerPoint slide show remote control app good for

I really apreaciate this application... It works perfect... however, I am agree at some point with the following review as the previous and next buttons should be little-bit more bigger which will be really good !!!!!!!!
Works very well, for the most part. Connects very quickly to the PC client, all controls buttons work. A few suggestions: 1) label the different main buttons (pointer move, left mouse, right mouse, scroll). Took some experimenting to see what they did. 2) Pointer or Pen movement VERY DIFFICULT. Works, but not smooth at all - hard to get very precise control. Id LOVE IT if you could show the screen/slide on the iPhone screen, and allow us to directly markup there. Like working on a tablet PC - direct markup is much easier than moving a mouse or pen cursor. 3) Put the download url for the client utilities in a helpscreen in the iPhone Other than these two points, no complaints. Very well done - keep up the improvements!
I tried iClickr, TouchPad Elite, Zentropys Pointer, and mbPointer. mbPointer is the only one that installed quickly and without hassle. Its advertised functionality is less than the advertised functionality of the other apps. But, considering that I couldnt get the other apps to run at all, mbPointer is the only choice.
I love this app. It was about a buck more than I would have liked but it wasnt $30 bucks like the physical pointer or clicker would be. My recommendation is for a 3rd option or mode that would just give me point and slide area and a previous and next buttons only. The previous and next buttons are too far down to be used comfortably. You almost have to use two hands to operate it. Put the previous and next buttons near the middle of the screen and make them much BIGGER.
I am a youth minister who uses powerpoint all the time. This app is amazing! It did take me awhile to set up the program though. As soon as I set the firewall to let it go through it, the app worked great!
Great app, way cheaper than buying an actual remote. I love how I can use the mouse function to control other aspects of my computer, especially browsing the web.

Some bad moments

The mouse was very hard to use. You would have to turn your iPod in a strange fashion. To figure out how to use it, I had to go on the website. The remote only works for powerpoint and no other programs, not even to play pictures. If I could, I would like my money back.
When I tried to use the app I received a notice stating that a WiFi network is required. This is not mentioned in the requirements.
I was really excited to try to use this app. Unfortunately, he charged me for an app that never actually downloaded. Thats absolute crap. I dont know how this seller is still allowed to sell anything. The downloading box popped up and 4 days later it still says "waiting". Dont buy this if you dont want to waste your money.
